We finally bit the bullet and bought a small greenhouse to put out back. It's not a permanent structure, but should do well enough to extend our growing season a bit. I'm so excited! I've always wanted a greenhouse but didn't feel worthy of one. Now I have tray after tray of seedlings and it's wonderful to have the space for them. It looks a little funny in our back yard because we positioned it close to power and water - oh, the things we'll do for seedlings!

That looks really nice! When you described it to me I was thinking of something different. You must be pretty excited to get going this year on gardening. I hope it all turns out well for you.
I just noticed this new blog! How fun for you. The greenhouse is great. Dad has planted tomatoes this year and a couple of cucumber plants. Wade and Nic have gone bananas with their planting beds. I'll ask her to email me a picture to show you. They've planted raspberries, sunflowers, peppers, tomatoes, carrots, rhubarb, onions, and the list goes on!! Wade has rigged up this impressive sprinkling system that I would not be able to do justice in explaining. All, in all, it's pretty darn cool! You'll have to see it. You, of all people, would appreciate it. I'm happy N. Dakota has finally unthawed for you.
